ABOUT ME
Learn more about the human behind the screen.
My career journey has taken me through retail, catering, and behavior therapy—but one thing’s always been constant: a drive to bring creativity into everything I do. When I realized I could blend my background in behavior with creative problem solving in product design, I knew that was the path I wanted to take.
While diving into UX design courses, I discovered GoFundMe was local to San Diego and hiring. I applied not once, not twice, but six times over three years (tenacity is my love language 😉). Finally, I landed a role in customer support and used that opportunity to learn from the design team, support QA, and soak up as much as I could about the day-to-day life of a product designer.
All that hustle paid off—I joined the design team and hit the ground running. I started with internal tools, thanks to my support team experience, then moved into checkout to tackle recurring customer pain points. I also led the launch of the GoFundMe Community and worked on improving the transfers experience.
In 2023, I joined Walmart’s holiday team—the first focused on the full end-to-end experience of the season. We introduced a new way for customers to pre-plan their shopping. From there, our team expanded our portfolio by streamlining processes, enhancing existing modules, and building new products and pages.
Outside of work, I’m a proud serial hobbyist. Pottery, crochet, oil painting, embroidery—if Michael’s sells it, I’ve tried it. My weekends are usually spent hanging with my dogs, treasure hunting for vintage Pyrex, or escaping (literally) from one of the 60+ escape rooms I’ve completed 💪.
