WALMART
Black Friday Deals
Black Friday is our largest revenue driver of the year. For 2 years running, my team and I delivered record breaking holiday experiences, with Walmart+ Early Access at the forefront.
I helped launch a record-breaking Black Friday event in 2023 and 2024, achieving Walmart’s highest-ever single-day digital sales, a 26% YoY GMV increase, and the biggest Walmart+ acquisition month to date.
I designed and delivered a new end-to-end lists experience, empowering customers to plan and save ahead of the holidays—resulting in millions of lists created and high engagement through item favoriting.

WALMART
Module Enhancements
Walmart’s product is built with several different modules to allow customers to shop the platform in various ways. Our business, creative, and marketing teams all have found workarounds so a lot of my work has focused on improving processes to help them be as efficient as possible without compromising the customer experience.
I designed a new universal banner that consolidated 20+ modules, creating a more consistent customer experience across various breakpoints and simplifying the creation process for internal teams.
I enhanced the item carousel to support creative holiday treatments, collaborating closely with engineering to navigate technical constraints, establish effective QA methods, and implement adjustments within product limitations.

GOFUNDME
Checkout & Tipping
Part of GoFundMe’s platform allows organizers to raise money without a fee. In order to continue to help organizers, we relied on the tips from generous donors.
I ran multiple experiments and A/B tests throughout the year, focusing on language, animation, and interactions within the checkout experience.
After adding a content designer, we tested simplified messaging, which led to an immediate increase in donors opting into tips.
Rather than testing individual interactions, we took a holistic approach, optimizing the full checkout flow and hierarchy for greater transparency. This strategy increased donor trust and resulted in a 7% lift in tips.

GOFUNDME
Money Transfers
In response to user demand and global crises, our team explored a way to expand GoFundMe's reach to countries unsupported by our current payment processors. This led to a partnership with Remitly, a trusted global remittance service, to enable international money transfers directly through our platform.
I collaborated cross-functionally to deliver a secure, user-friendly experience under a tight timeline, while also onboarding and mentoring a new designer.
I worked closely with internal and external teams—including Legal, Marketing, CX, and Remitly—to ensure the product met branding, compliance, and launch-readiness standards.

GOFUNDME
GoFundMe Community
We created GoFundMe’s first community space to help organizers connect emotionally and find support during difficult times. Designed as a forum for advice and shared experiences, the space aimed to empower users with guidance from successful fundraisers and reduce the overwhelm of starting a campaign alone.
I led UX and visual design efforts, using insights from 12,000+ survey responses to shape user flows, content strategy, and forum interactions, while collaborating with Marketing, VIP, and a third-party dev team.
I developed branded assets and onboarding experiences, worked with GoFundMe Heroes to foster meaningful engagement, and iterated post-launch—leading to a 15% increase in first donations and a 20% decrease in customer support inquiries.
